What is a Virtual Tour?

A virtual tour is created using many high resolution digital still images, these are stitched together using custom computer software to form a “Panorama". A Panorama is a long flat image that shows the complete 360 degree circle as if you had turned around in a circle.

These Panoramas are then linked together in custom computer software to present the view of going from room to room “virtually touring the property”. The green hot spot links appear after you have clicked on a doorway where a "hand" appears for the first time, and after that allows you click on them to walk around the property and move to other rooms anywhere the hot spots are located.

How does VR360 differ from the competitors virtual tour packages?

At VR360 we feel that quality and coverage is the prime importance when producing virtual tours. Our camera systems cost over $10,000 per system and we incorporate professional flash systems to give very sharp and clear panorama images. Our competitors use consumer level cameras and do not use flash, this gives the images a dull look along with blown out lights and windows as they have to compensate for the darker interiors. We have been working on virtual tours for over 8 years and have developed skills and technologies second to none.
Our photographers are highly trained and go to great extremes to make sure the photographs are of the highest quality possible.

The other main advantage of the VR360 solution is that we understand that you cannot fully represent a property with only a limited number of panoramas; most of our competitors provide 4 images in their packages, whereas VR360 can produce as many as 15 tours for the same property. We also include digital still photographs that have 6 million pixels, along with the panoramas for use in printing and slide show presentations.

What is the Cost of a Virtual Tour Production ?
: Our price includes:

A full virtual tour of the property, all main rooms, exterior front and rear shots, along with link shots of hallways and bedrooms. (bathrooms are not included as panoramas but still photographs of the bathrooms will be taken.)
High resolution digital 6 million pixel images for print and presentation purposes.
Web hosting of the virtual tour presentation for 1 full year. (Additional years at $60.00 for 2 years or $100 for a 5 year option are offered at the time of renewal.)
CD presentation of the virtual tour including the still images, panoramas and copy of the web virtual tour for uploading to client's web site.
A unique web page address for each property for use as a hyperlink on web sites or to e-mail to potential clients to view the tour.

( * Please note that we cannot make changes to the tour once it has been built without an additional charge of $50 per hour for the time to completely disassemble, amend and rebuild again.)

* Please Note : The Unbranded tour option is only required on certain web sites in the UK, please check with the sites you are already on to make sure you need this service. If they accept the regular tour there is no need to go to the added expense of asking for an unbranded tour as well.

*Please Note :

* As of July 2007, we have upgraded some of our software used in the production of buildling the virtual tours, This new software is not now compatible with our previous software which has made the option of partial reshoots not feasible. Any upgrades needed will now need to be completed as a brand new tour, but we will discount the price of a full new tour by $50.

If you do NOT specify room names or the order in which you want to view the rooms (and give a brief description of the room so we can recognize it during the shoot), we will name them in the order we see them; ie: Working left to right around the home ( If a large scale home, please draw out a plan with your name and address of your home, and either fax to 407-397-9948 or e-mail to sales@vr360.net so we can get the correct room title.)

We cannot go back to change the names or the order of rooms once the tour is built without an additional fee being charged, currently $50 per hour.
